A Room of One's Own

I'm in Edmonton for a month with a show that's touring to the Citadel Theatre, and I'm pretty excited to be exploring a new town. I didn't bring a lot of drawing supplies, but I've got my computer, and a semi-new (to me) Wacom tablet that I'm going to spend lots of time with and really learn how to use it.

Part of me really likes staying in hotels, at least for the first few days when everything is new and interesting. Like the view from my balcony window at night:

See? I'm sure I'll get tired of the view in, oh, a week, but for now it's great. Oh, and the fact that I have a king-sized bed here that's as wide as it is long. That's also great. Really, really great.
